Has anyone noticed those yellow raised traction things in sidewalks? Well. I just have to wounder why an urban designer has not noticed how much the do just the opposite. I slip on them all the time. Last night was the worst! I was out to dinner with some friends, and then we went to a few more spots. Walking across capital square my friend Lucas jumped on my back for a ride. We thought it was soooo funny. I crossed W. Wash and my right foot slipped on one of those things that should stop you from slipping. Down we went. Thank goodness his arm was between my face and the cement. I'm too pretty for sidewalk rash on my face. lol
